About the editor
David E. Irwin is a native of south Florida and has been working in the local marine industry for more than twelve years. At Kelley Uustal, David heads the admiralty and maritime legal team helping clients in a variety of legal matters and dispute resolutions. Mr. Irwin practices litigation in commercial and personal injury cases and is a transactional attorney with experience in drafting contracts and agreements. David’s clients include yacht manufacturers, dealers, banks, brokers, vessel owners, crew members, buyers, sellers, marine repair and maintenance companies, individuals and corporate entities.
Mr. Irwin has a bachelor’s of science degree in economics from Florida State University and is a cum laude graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. He is a member of the Florida Bar with admission to the Southern, Middle and Northern districts of the United States District Courts of Florida.
